Livingston Karate Club hold a
number of social events through the year.
As the old saying goes all work and no play, we believe a club with no social side to it is not much fun. Therefore Livingston Karate Club strongly promotes social events for the membership 2005 we introducted our first Christmas party. This included a night out in Chicago Rock Cafe for the seniors, and a disco for the junior members, with some live music from the senior members, all be it a bit rusty sounding.

2006 we followed Scotland in the six nations cup, apart from enjoying watching our team doing well it was just an excellent excuse for a number of days/nights out in Edinburgh.
Thanks goes to Willie Robertston who has introduced five aside football on a Sunday morning (a great way to work off the night before).
Our third BBQ was held in August at Beecraigs Country Park. This prooved to be the biggest success yet with the club providing free of charge transport to and from the venue. Despite terrible predications by the weather forecast the sun did shine although most did not manage to keep dry as the pictures show.
Christmas brought a bowling for the kids in Deer Park and another fun night for the adults at Chicago Rock.
The website needs a complete overhaul, which should be attended to shortly, but meantime we can confirm 2010 has a lot in store.
We continue to support our country in the Six Nations, BBQ plans are underway, and a residential weekend is booked at Fordell Firs in May. New for this year we hope to take a squad of students to the events operated by Black Belt International.
